Question from ShyNique271:
Monae, how are you? I recently started using what my hair stylist calls, “better quality” hair. I know I like it more then the hair that I get from the beauty supply store because it doesn’t shed as much and its softer. But I don’t like not being able to buy it in different colors. I always like the 1B/33 (darkest brown and light brown) color mixture. I don’t like the natural darkest brown hair color of this hair. It’s such an investment that I’m scared of ruining the hair. What can I do give this hair a better look? Can I color hair extensions without ruining them?
Answer from Monae:
Hey ShyNique271! Simply put, yes you can color hair extensions without ruining them. This high quality human hair can be altered to fit your desires. It doesn’t matter if the hair is Indian, Brazilian, Peruvian, Russian, etc. The reason you invest in this hair because it is really human hair and the highest quality hair is virgin human hair.
This allows you to bleach, color, cut, and style the hair any way you like. Just make sure to use the same care that you would if you were coloring any other human’s hair. In the video below I show you step by step how to color the hair extensions. Many women prefer the highlighted hair look. It tends to soften the overall style. Plus you can reapply high quality hair extensions at least 3 times depending an how you care for the hair.
Have you ever colored hair extensions? Do you prefer the deep dark hair or the drama of hair color?
